DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs assigned tasks under the direction and guidance of the department Lead HandAssemble panels under the direction of the Sr. Sheet Metal Operator and/or the department Lead HandInstall assemblies, such as flashing, wall panels, insulation, and heating & air conditioning ducts in supportive frameworks as instructedDrill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools as directedWillingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Possess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this positionMinimum of 1 - 3 years sheet metal experience is preferredMust be able to work with various hand tools and operate an industrial powered fork truckDemonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.Able to work independently or as a team playerAble to take direction and communicate with othersHave excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented
