Title:                   Quality Inspector
Location:      Oklahoma City, OK
Shift:                  1st Shift ( Monday –Friday )
Duration:          0 –6 Months
Pay:                   $26.00/Hour

Job Duties (Responsibilities):

Perform incoming and outgoing material inspections at Distribution Centers (USA & Canada).
Support turbine downtime reduction through on-site component inspections.
Handle and manage materials as per safety and quality standards.
Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials.
Coordinate and follow up with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
Support corrective and preventive actions using tools like 8D.
Maintain and update quality systems and software.
Manage quality quarantine area and support inventory control.
Work with cross-functional teams (operations, logistics, supplier quality, safety).
Identify and report HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) risks.
Provide quality support to supplier quality teams across regions.
Travel to other distribution centers for inspections (quarterly visits).

Qualifications (Skills, Education & Experience):

Education:

Technical/Associate degree or equivalent experience in quality, mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (optional).
Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) is a plus.

Experience & Technical Skills:

3–5 years of experience in quality inspection, warehouse, logistics, or similar roles.
Experience in distribution centers or manufacturing environments preferred.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and inspection processes.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Communication Skills:

English required.
Spanish is a plus.
Ability to communicate with teams in a multicultural environment.

Analytical & Other Skills:

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to analyze inspection data and support corrective actions.
Familiarity with inspection techniques and supplier quality processes.
