Job: IT Field Support Technician

Job Description:
  • 3–5 years of experience providing software and hardware support, including server and Cisco technologies, in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Office Suite applications, including:
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Windows Operating System (WinOS)
  • Prior experience assisting with the administration of Virtual/Desktop/Laptop Management and infrastructure applications, including:
    • VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
    • Patch Management
    • Encryption Technologies
    • Anti-virus Solutions
    • Incident Management
    • Request Management
  • Previous experience working with the ServiceNow ticketing system (preferred) or a similar ITSM/ticketing platform.
  • Proficient in:
    • Backing up user data
    • Recovering user data
    • Reimaging user devices
    • Providing both remote and desk-side support
  • Strong customer communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
  • Must be able to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local time), with flexibility to stay beyond 5:00 PM when required.

<.>Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesThis role is in a professional banking environment with a high-touch, executive-level user community. The consultant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing technical support activities, including:
  • Configuring, installing, and testing hardware components.
  • Performing hardware deployments and replacement activities.
  • Managing hardware and software service-related issues for end users to prevent escalations.
  • Working within the ServiceNow Ticketing System.
  • Providing cross-divisional troubleshooting support.
  • Updating and maintaining incident and service tickets.
  • Reimaging PCs.
  • Backing up and restoring user data.
  • Installing and validating correct software versions on user devices.
  • Confirming device functionality after software installation.
  • Utilizing Wells utilities to troubleshoot end-user machine functionality.
  • Accurately documenting service events in work orders and ticketing systems.
