Requirement: US Courts - Senior Project Management Specialist - PMP
Job Description:Forge is seeking a Senior Specialist to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) - providing support to develop and align specific project management strategies, documents, and approaches tailored to service delivery to the judiciary's financial management community. This includes, but is not limited to the AO, Federal Judiciary Center (FJC), and Federal Public Defender Organizations (FPDO) communities. Seeking a Project Management Professional (PMP) with active certification through Project Management Institute (PMI).
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
Support the identification, initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and the closing of projects in support of development, upgrade, and deployment of the data management systems and project management processes.
Serves as the primary point of contact for FPO staff on activities required to manage projects through their various stages from identification to closeout.
Provide Business Case, Organizational Charters and Project Charter artifacts for identified projects.
Provide project activity sequences, durations, resource requirements and schedule constraints, including the Scope, Time/Schedule, Cost/Financial, Risk Management Plan and Risk Register, Quality, and Project Communications information for project management artifacts.
Create and maintain an online repository for project management artifacts supporting FPO projects utilizing currently existing AO technical resources (for example, Microsoft SharePoint).
Identify the type and quantity of people, skills, material, technology, financial, reporting and organizational resources needed to perform each project management activity.
Identify the people or organizations impacted by the project and their interests, involvement and impact on project success.
Provide high-level visual representations of what is expected to happen during a project, and when, in a timeline format that will inform all project stakeholders, to include (but not limited to): Project goals or objectives. Resource allocation and budget. Important milestones and high-level deadlines. Tasks for multiple people or cross-functional teams. Partner, stakeholder, or cross-functional responsibilities. Details dependencies and relationships of identified projects to overall program goals and objectives. To be updated as projects are identified, executed, and closed. Project
Assist with providing Project Management Approach for each project. The Project Management Support shall include managing a portfolio of approximately 20 projects with a combined budget of approximately $20 million.
Provide ongoing Project Schedule management and support throughout the entirety of each project.
Support FPO program management integration activities to the verify that all project activities are aligned with the appropriate Strategic Planning artifacts such as the Master Project Roadmap.
Identify and define project stakeholders, requirements, scope and objectives, project schedules, resources, equipment, and information needed to ensure that FPO requirements are met.
Assist project staff in identifying and documenting key project tasks, deliverables, and schedules.
Communicate with FPO stakeholders to support the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing for each project.
Communicate with FPO stakeholders about the expectations and goals of each project.
Coordinate with the FPO COR on the planning activities required to align the project schedule with project management expectations and goals.
Collaborate with FPO COR and stakeholders to direct the resources and activities required to maintain project completion schedule and achieve deliverable expectations.
Provide regular status reporting on current project activities, including completion status, risks, and other relevant information, to include but not be limited to meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
Prepare and provide information for management and executive briefings. Examples include but are not limited to, narratives for In Progress Reviews (IPRs), Working Group and Committee meeting updates/metrics, end user broadcasting, marketing, and promotional materials support.

Bachelor's Degree plus six (6) years relevant work experience in Project Management
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, and PowerPoint.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
Specialization or extensive experience with projects related to financial and business-related applications, including the development of process and related IT application systems.
Experience in standardization, policy writing, documentation, establishment of standard operating procedures.
Familiarity with establishing or designing an enterprise-wide Project Management Office (PMO).
Experience developing project documentation, processes, and standardized templates.
Experience managing and tracking progress on multiple projects at once.
