Urology Physician
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Urology Physician and make a meaningful impact on patient lives through expert surgical and clinical care. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stimulating environment that balances professional excellence with flexibility, serving communities in Stevens Point, Wausau, and Wisconsin Rapids.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive urological care in clinic settings and perform surgeries in the Operating Room. You will be responsible for covering clinic appointments and OR procedures, with an emphasis on system call responsibilities based out of Wausau. The schedule includes 36 hours per week, offering flexible days and times to accommodate your work-life balance. You may also have outreach duties to Wisconsin Rapids once or twice a month, enhancing regional healthcare access.
Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid medical licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology
- Proven clinical proficiency in urological diagnosis and treatment
- Strong surgical skills with experience in urological procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliability and flexibility to handle call responsibilities and outreach duties
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in a community or regional healthcare setting
- Experience with minimally invasive and robotic urological surgeries
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Urology residency program
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel to outreach locations as required
- Valid medical license and state-specific certifications
- Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar is a plus
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, with benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program.
