What Youll Do
- Provide urological care and perform procedures such as cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, and lithotripsy
- Assist with robotic surgeries in a hospital setting with 16 operating rooms
- Manage patient consults and follow-ups for adults, including emergency torsions
- Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Support emergency procedures and rare OB support if required
- Participate in 24-hour beeper call with 2-6 hours callback per day
What You Need
Required:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- PA License or IMLC LOQ in hand (Active PA license preferred)
- DEA registration
- Minimum of 1 year urology experience
Preferred:
- Experience with robotic surgery and complex procedures
- Excellent communication and team skills
About the Assignment
This is a hospital-based locum position in York, PA, supporting a level 1 trauma center. The facility offers state-of-the-art surgical and diagnostic equipment, including robotic systems. The team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality urological care, addressing adult patient needs in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
