About the Facility This health system provides inpatient urological coverage with established clinical protocols to support general urological care delivery. The facility maintains appropriate resources and administrative support to facilitate effective care coordination during each coverage period. Clinical and operational systems are in place to ensure quality patient management throughout the assignment. About the Facility Location Blue Ridge, Georgia is situated within 106,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest, offering access to more than 300 miles of hiking trails and whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River. The area is recognized as Georgia's Trout Fishing Capital, with year-round trout fishing available on the Toccoa River. Clinicians on assignment will also find the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, which departs from a historic 1905 depot in downtown Blue Ridge and travels to neighboring Tennessee and North Carolina. About the Clinician's Workday The urologist will provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for inpatient urological services at an on-site health system facility in Georgia. Coverage responsibilities include managing emergent surgeries, emergency room consults, and rounding on urology patients, with approximately 2-4 callback hours anticipated per shift. The scope of practice is limited to general urological cases; no advanced procedures are required, and no clinic responsibilities are included in this assignment. Board certification in Urology, an active Georgia medical license, an active DEA registration, and a clean NPDB record are required for consideration.
