Distribution Clerk — Urgently hiring in Raymond!

Job Title: Distribution Clerk
Pay: $19.23 per hour (Or more depending on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

As a Distribution Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating incoming shipments, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders to keep warehouse operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with the warehouse team to ensure products are accurately received, stored, and shipped out on time. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.


What You'll Do
As a Distribution Clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Unpacking, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and procurement data.
  • Inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with procurement staff.
  • Labeling, organizing, and stocking inventory efficiently for quick retrieval.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing physical counts regularly.
  • Monitoring supply levels and assisting with replenishment requests to ensure stock availability.
  • Picking, labeling, programming, and preparing products according to shop orders for shipment.
  • Kitting customer orders when necessary and prioritizing shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Following special handling instructions and customer notes to ensure quality service.
  • Rejecting defective products and completing Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs).
  • Using ERP systems, warehouse software, and scanning tools to update and manage inventory data.
  • Coordinating with internal departments to resolve shipment and inventory issues promptly.
  • Assisting with general warehouse tasks and cross-training in other areas as needed.


What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of warehouse experience preferred, with familiarity in inventory management.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, ERP systems, and scanning technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and handling physical materials.
  • Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with team members.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification.

Location & Schedule:
This on-site position is located in Raymond, Maine. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
