Our client, a (Tech industry), is looking to hire a (NPI Materials Program Manager) in (Austin, TX).

Pay Rate Range: $55/Hr - $75/Hr on W2, depending on experience

Responsibilities: 
  • This role is responsible for material planning, forecasting, and readiness to enable technology development, new product development, supply qualification, and factory readiness.
  • You will serve as a primary interface between Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supplier/Manufacturing Partner(s).  
  • Financial & Spend Management: Lead materials budget planning and spend management through partnering with Finance and Engineering.
  • Supply Planning: Lead clear to build (CTB) for pre-production build phases. Propose optimized supply planning to ensure on-time build schedules and drive closure of materials issues.
  • Sourcing & Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering to manage multiple or alternate source qualifications through build management.
  • Process Optimization: Lead NPI materials process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner Management: Lead daily or weekly supply planning meetings with Manufacturer Partners.
Requirements: 
  • Experience: Proven NPI (New Product Introduction) supply chain management experience.
  • Project Management: Strong project/program management skills (PMP, APICS, CSCP, or CPIM certifications are a plus).
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability and experience working in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage through influence.
  • Organization: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities, and priority-setting skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of Agile, SAP, or Oracle is a plus. Experience with standard productivity/presentation suites is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience are a plus.
