    Urgent Care Veterinarian

     

    A veterinary hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about providing high-quality care for pets requiring prompt medical attention.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent and non-life-threatening medical conditions in companion animals

    • Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans

    • Provide medical care, minor procedures, and stabilization when needed

    • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care

    • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient patient care

    • Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university

    • Active or eligible veterinary license

    • Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills

    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

    • Excellent communication and client education abilities

    • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
