This position is for 1st shift Upholstery team. Experience with leather work, gluing, sewing, patterning, and sanding will be necessary.

This individual will be joining our 1st shift Upholstery Team.
Knowledge of and proper usage methods for most hand tools, table saw, planer, jointer, bandsaw, router, and cordless power tools preferred. Mechanical background, mechanic (automotive, small engine, powersports, diesel), welding, woodworking, cabinet building, and/or finish carpentry experience is preferred but not required. Must possess a strong willingness to learn and work within a team environment.

Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years experience in upholstery to include 2 years aircraft upholstery experience. Advanced knowledge of upholstery and sewing processes and products and/or advance carpet knowledge including being able to install custom carpets.
Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, leads the day to day activities of a Final Phase Trim shop. Plans and schedules workloads, ensuring manpower and material come together supporting workflow targets. Assists service center in the spirit of the one team concept. Supports Gulfstream management in all of the company's goals and policies. Complies with all duties and responsibilities set forth in the repair station inspection manual and the standard operating procedures manual.
