As the operations manager, you will collaborate, engage with, and oversee six to 10 trained safety officers operating in different assignments related to foot patrols, vehicular patrols, static posts assignments, and bicycle patrols within the SCAD Savannah geography. In this role you will identify and utilize best practices to implement innovative methods of all-encompassing safety and security services for the highest level of service to SCAD and will refine the standards related to the establishment of the internal university safety patrol program to promote job knowledge and enhance SCAD's visions and commitments.
Responsibilities in this position include driving the active engagement of all internal and external stakeholders, conferring with management level university personnel and law enforcement officials on operational and policy matters, and leveraging personal job knowledge related to planning and oversight of special events at the Savannah location. You will be expected to continually improve efforts related to the development, maintenance, and implementation of evolving crime prevention programs and to engage with all levels of law enforcement in the exchange and conveyance of information during criminal investigations and for real-time assessments to determine appropriate staffing and resource deployment.
