Due to growth and expansion, Virginia Credit Union is looking for Branch Representatives in the Christiansburg, VA area.

• Day Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday with some Saturdays

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establishes and maintains strong member relationships through quality service, professional interactions (in-person and by phone), and cross-selling VACU products/services to meet financial needs.

• Assesses member needs, identifies opportunities, and makes appropriate referrals to expand relationships and support lending opportunities.

• Aids with all deposit and loan accounts, including account opening, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Builds long-term member loyalty through follow-ups, courtesy calls, and consistent high-quality service.

• Accurately and efficiently handles all member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, cash advances, etc.) while adhering to VACU policies and procedures.

• Maintains and balances cash drawer daily with minimal variances, reconciles discrepancies, and ensures compliance with cash limits and security policies.

• Meets service expectations for transaction accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.

• Delivers needs-based sales and consistently meets individual and branch service/sales goals.

• Demonstrates flexibility and lobby leadership skills to enhance member experience and guide coworkers as needed.

• Adheres to all VACU policies, procedures, and security requirements, including Information Security, Risk Management, and BSA/OFAC compliance.

• Maintains required notary certification and remains current on all federal and state regulations, loan documents, credit reports, and related requirements.

• Completes all required enterprise-level training and reports any compliance violations in accordance with policy.

• Demonstrates good judgment, decision-making, and leadership skills to support branch operations and member needs.

• Handles special assignments, troubleshooting, and provides support to supervisors as needed.

• Maintains broad knowledge of VACU products, services, and procedures to ensure high-quality member support.
