The Warfel lab focuses on the role of hypoxia and reoxygenation in tumor metastasis and drug resistance. The Successful candidate will perform integrated multi-omics statistical and bioinformatics analysis to understand how temporal hypoxia alters cancer cell resistance to therapy and related biological processes. The lab is also invested in drug development and testing in prostate cancer and other solid tumors. The candidates will work to integrate multiomics data sets including RNA-seq, lipidomics, and phospho-proteomics.
