Job Description Summary

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC is actively recruiting a board certified board eligible faculty member. We are seeking an academically driven fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon with capabilities in general pediatric orthopedics with an invitation to develop a sub-specialty practice in neuromuscular disease, trauma, or limb deformity.

The incoming faculty member will join our three current pediatric orthopaedic faculty and clinical staff in serving patients in the Charleston tri-county area as well as in satellite clinics in South Carolina. This hire will contribute to all facets of the academic mission with clinical research and teaching responsibilities.

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation has 45 Faculty members serving the clinical research and education missions. The Department delivers the regions most comprehensive range of musculoskeletal services, encompassing every orthopaedic subspecialty. We treat more than 36,000 patients each year with the most innovative technology and sophisticated procedures.
