Responsibilities:

The Unit Support Coordinator:

  • Handles clerical and specific administrative tasks for the nursing unit.
  • Supports the efforts of the unit staff.
  • Assembles patient records.
  • Answers phones and patient calls.
  • Orders and ensures delivery of supplies.
  • Timekeeps via Kronos.
  • Welcomes new patients and families to the unit.
  • Answers call lights.
  • Assists the unit leaders in disseminating pertinent information to the staff.

Unit Overview: 

  • N2W

    Heart Failure & Cardiac Unit31 bed unit specializing in Heart Failure, peri-interventional cardiology care, and medical telemetry. The energetic and dynamic nursing team provides high quality, patient centered care for those who do not require critical care nursing, but who have complex cardiovascular conditions. These patients commonly have the diagnoses of CHF, ACS, AMI, dysrhythmia, or syncope in addition to other concomitant medical diagnoses.

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 3 twelve-hour shifts. 7:00am-7:30pm, weekend and holiday rotation included.

Education Requirements

  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
  • High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
