We're Hiring!

We are seeking a Unit Lead to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for facilitating therapeutic groups, providing case management services, and participating in other related activities of the Day Treatment Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and facilitate treatment-related group sessions with any or all of the units within the Day Treatment program.
  • Provide behavioral support assistance in the way of structured breaks and one-on-one processing to support clients within the program.
  • Assist staff during crisis situations to promote safety and positive behavior support needs.
  • Serve as primary case manager for assigned clients, facilitating coordination of services with families and service providers. Having regular contact with parents and other providers involved in treatment process and facilitating regular case reviews to document treatment updates and progress.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required:Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred:Master's degree in social work or related field, CPR/First Aid/NARCAN training and some form of crisis prevention and/or restraint training

Experience:

  • Required:1-3 years' experience working with youth and families in a behavioral or mental health setting
  • Preferred:2+ years' experience facilitating groups or working in a day treatment program

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of family dynamics, abuse, neglect, criminality and social dysfunction.
  • Experience with client services which embrace family support concepts and demonstrates attitude that is accepting, non-judgmental and culturally competent.
  • Respect for families of diverse socio-economic status, race, ethnicity and ability to engage them in dialogue regarding personal issues.
  • Experience with client services which embraces family support concept and demonstrates attitude that is accepting, non-judgmental and culturally competent.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with reliable personal vehicle. Maintain required auto insurance and acceptable driving record requirements
