Unit Clerk - Registrar- IICN- 14HR Night Shift 1100PM TO 700AM-Women and Families Campus 260851

Under supervision of the nurse manager or designee, the Unit Clerk/Registrar organizes the activities of the nurse station by performing clerical reception, registration, and support duties. Maintaining the physical environment of the area, assuring adequate clerical supplies, coordinating transportation for patient intra-hospital transfers, and filing documents into Medical records are key responsibilities. The position requires exercise of judgment in clerical decisions, knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures, and the ability to follow diverse procedures. This role requires a calm, rational demeanor, effective job performance, and the ability to multi-task in hectic, high-pressured, emotionally charged situations.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience: 1 year experience in a related field
