This position exists to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by performing essential clerical, organizational, and communication functions that ensure the smooth daily operation of the patient care unit. The Unit Clerk Co‑Op contributes to efficient workflow by managing front‑desk responsibilities, facilitating communication among interdisciplinary team members, maintaining documentation and information systems, and supporting unit organization and supply processes.
As part of a structured co‑op learning experience, the student will be academically supervised by their school's co‑op coordinator. This role enables the student to gain exposure to a high‑acuity clinical environment while providing critical administrative support that enhances the overall functioning of the Level IV NICU.
Essential Functions
Requirements:
AHA BLS
Minimum 1 year patient care experience preferred (ex: Clinical rotations)
Able to read and write accurately.
