They would like people who have solid agency contacts. This broker has many markets ready and willing to write new business. They are strong in the $5,000-$25,000 space, but they also have brokerage markets to cover 6-figure risks. They will also look at a person that comes from an MGA. They will let you work from home 1-2 days a week once you are up and running. You must be a sales-oriented, production-oriented underwriter who will have goals to meet. They pay a base plus a very generous bonus. They would consider assistant brokers/underwriters who feel they are ready for the next step. Must have a tremendous sense of urgency.
