Job Description Summary
The Sustainable Materials Research Lab has research positions available. The research projects will focus on one of three research projects:
- The first is focused on the design and use of Magnesium Oxide Cements as a more sustainable building material for residential and commercial construction.
- The second is focused on the use of hydrothermal carbonization to convert brewery spent grain into valuable chemical and materials for society.
- The third is focused on supporting Carbon Calculus, a modeling methodology to quantify life cycle CO2 impact and integrate carbon values into decision-making.
The research position requires hands-on laboratory research for projects 1 & 2, not for project 3, and is available for full-time or part-time.
