Job Description:

Ultrasound Technologist
Hours:
4/10 hour days, Mon-Thu 7:30a-5:30p

As part of a respected Oncology/Hematology group, our practice features a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center operating 7 days a week, offering chemotherapy, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and Research services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams. Including: general, vascular, cardiac, gyn and small parts 
  • Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
  • Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
  • Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
  • Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
  • RVT and/or ARDMS Ab certification required
  • RDCS/Echo experience a plus 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
