Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Manhattan, NY
Type: Contract | 9 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 16 Hours Per Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Manhattan, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols and procedures
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process
  • Operate, adjust, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
  • Capture and transfer diagnostic images through PACS systems for physician review
  • Provide technical assistance to radiologists during procedures
  • Maintain adequate exam room supplies and equipment readiness
  • Ensure patient safety and follow infection control standards
  • Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound staff members
  • Coordinate scheduling, answer phones, and support patient flow as needed
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the department

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required
  • Must have exact VU Ultrasound System experience
  • Must have experience performing prostate sonography procedures
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Associate’s Degree required
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems
