Rome Health is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care in an acute care setting. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team and contribute to providing top-tier diagnostic imaging services for our inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and emergency department (ED) patients.  

Job Responsibilities:

As an Ultrasound Technologist, your duties will include:

  • Performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to OB/GYN, breast, abdominal, small parts, and vascular exams.
  • Providing exceptional patient care in an acute care setting, ensuring accurate imaging results while maintaining patient comfort.
  • Assisting with the preparation and positioning of patients for various ultrasound exams.
  • Working closely with medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensuring all ultrasound equipment is maintained and calibrated according to protocol.
  • Documenting exam details and findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registered or eligible.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in performing OB/GYN, breast, abdominal, small parts, and vascular ultrasound exams.

Certifications/Licensure:

  • ARDMS certification required or eligibility to sit for the ARDMS exam.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret ultrasound images accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion when working with diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to work 7 on 7 off 1:30PM-11:00PM
