Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technician
Location: Watertown, New York, 13601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/15/2026 – 09/16/2026
Shift: Night Shift | Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Guaranteed 36 Hours Per Week
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technician experience required
Must be ARDMS Registered (Required)
Vascular & Obstetric experience required
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required
One year of radiologic/imaging experience required
Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography required
Current BLS Certification – AHA required
Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
Ability to comply with on-call requirements
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills required
Position Overview:
The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality.
The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Operate major Medical Sonography equipment and software efficiently
Work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making
Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting
Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Ultrasound Technologists with strong Vascular and Obstetric expertise looking for an excellent travel assignment.
