Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams with accurate tracing and measurements.

  • Interpret exam findings and document results with concise, clear reports.

  • Meet daily/weekly imaging targets and contribute to pipeline-based forecasting.

  • Adhere to regulatory, safety, and quality standards in all procedures.

  • Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols and next steps.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and seek opportunities for advancement.

  • Document workflow and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.

  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Demonstrate strong patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.

  • Assist with clinical workflow optimization to improve turnaround times.

  • Support team by sharing knowledge and mentoring junior technologists when appropriate.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Current ARDMS/ Sonography Board certification in vascular technology.

  • Proven ability to perform high-quality vascular ultrasounds with precise tracing.

  • Texas state ultrasound license or eligibility to obtain promptly.

  • Strong interpretation of findings with concise, accurate EMR documentation.

  • Commitment to regulatory, safety, and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA).

  • Experience meeting imaging targets and contributing to pipeline-based forecasting.

  • Proficiency in equipment maintenance and routine calibration of ultrasound devices.

  • Ability to collaborate with physicians to determine imaging protocols and next steps.

  • Strong patient care focus; able to explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.

  • Demonstrated mentorship and willingness to mentor junior technologists.
