Ultrasound Tech PRN Outpatient Imaging
Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs duties directly involved in a variety of technical procedures applying ultrasound for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates the ultrasound equipment and develops the ultrasound films to form a permanent record of the examination. Uses sterile techniques with all procedures that require them and assists the radiologist in all procedures that require physicians presence.
Qualifications
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Vocational School Graduate • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Vascular Technician RVT or Ultrasonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist is required • 1-3 years of experience is needed
