Responsibilities
Perform and interpret ultrasound examinations with attention to image quality and patient safety.
Accurately document findings and generate clear, concise reports for physicians.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and data privacy.
Meet daily/weekly performance targets and contribute to pipeline-based forecasting.
Coordinate patient scheduling, prep, and workflow to optimize daily targets.
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
Engage in continuous learning to stay current with imaging techniques and protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
Assist with department initiatives to improve efficiency and patient throughput.
Assist in data collection for quality assurance and clinical research as applicable.
Educate patients about procedures, procedures, and post-exam expectations.
Maintain accurate inventory of consumables and request replenishments timely.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified Ultrasound Technologist with applicable state licensure.
Proficient in performing and interpreting ultrasound exams with high image quality.
Accurate documentation and clear reporting for physicians and records.
Strict adherence to safety, infection control, and patient privacy protocols.
Maintenance, calibration, and timely reporting of ultrasound equipment malfunctions.
Experience meeting targets, with ability to contribute to workflow forecasting.
Scheduling coordination and patient prep management to optimize throughput.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with imaging protocols.
Collaborative team player; effective communication with physicians and nurses.
Assist in quality assurance data collection and support clinical research activities.
Patient education regarding procedures, expectations, and post-exam guidance.
Accurate inventory management of consumables and timely replenishment requests.
