The Project Manager will lead and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team to ensure a successful design and transition to manufacturing of critical products, such as Lithium Ion batteries, chargers, and accessories.Key Responsibilities:Establish project schedules, budgets, quality plans (dfmea/pfmea, validation plans), and phase gate design reviewsLead a cross-functional engineering team to develop new product designs, build and test prototypes, establish component supply base, and prepare documentation packagesWork with internal teams from engineering, manufacturing, testing, materials, finance, and qualityAbility to track and monitor progress vs. project plan and update management on a regular basisMitigate risks associated with plan to assure timelines are maintainedStrong initiative to be hands on to solve problems with design and schedule.Good communication and customer management skillsDomestic and international travel as requiredOther duties as assignedWhat You Bring:Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering major preferredMinimum 5 year's of project management experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of MS Project and MS OfficeExperience leading teams as well as working and traveling domestically and/or internationallyAbility to work effectively with team members under limited supervision in order to meet challenging schedule, technical, and cost objectivesStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical componentsExcellent communication skills requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerUltralife Corporation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
