Kforce has a client that is seeking a UKG Consulting Manager in New York, NY. Duties:
  • Support end-to-end payroll processing across regular and off-cycle pay runs, including data validation, earnings/deduction review, and reconciliations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies, including tax, deductions, payments, and employee data issues
  • Assist with payroll tax activities, year-end reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Validate payroll data against source systems to ensure accuracy prior to final processing and reporting
  • Monitor and support system integrations and data flows between payroll and related systems; Assist with issue resolution and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT) to address payroll and data-related issues
  • Manage and resolve service requests and incidents within defined service levels using case management tools
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and data privacy standards
  • Maintain documentation such as procedures, job aids, and known issue logs
  • Support onboarding, transition, and knowledge transfer activities for payroll processes
  • Identify and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency enhancements
  • Assist with reporting, data validation, and analysis to support operational performance

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in payroll, HR systems, or related operational support roles
  • Experience supporting payroll processing, including reconciliations, tax considerations, and compliance activities
  • Experience working in service-oriented or shared services environments with ticket-based support
  • Experience using case management or ticketing tools
  • Understanding of core HR processes, employee data management, and payroll lifecycle activities
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and related payroll impacts
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security, and handling of sensitive information
  • Exposure to system integrations and data flow validation across multiple platforms
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Flexibility to support business hours aligned with operational needs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
