About the Role

Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Automate Developer with deep expertise in UiPath and a strong RPA (Robotic Process Automation) background. This role is ideal for a hands-on automation professional who has successfully delivered complex workflow automation solutions, particularly involving UiPath-to-Power Automate transitions or coexistence across both platforms.

You will design, develop, and optimize automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, streamline repetitive processes, and improve business agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop).
  • Lead and support migrations or integrations from UiPath to Power Automate, ensuring functional and process continuity.
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify process automation opportunities and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop reusable components, connectors, and templates aligned with enterprise automation standards.
  • Ensure best practices in security, exception handling, logging, and governance across workflows.
  • Conduct code and design reviews to maintain solution quality and compliance with internal IT and data governance policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process owners, solution architects, and platform administrators.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guide junior developers on automation best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years in RPA development and automation delivery.
  • Proven hands-on experience with both UiPath Studio/Orchestrator and Power Automate (Flow, Desktop, Power Apps integration).
  • Strong understanding of RPA architecture, automation lifecycle, and workflow orchestration.
  • Experience migrating use cases, components, or frameworks from UiPath to Power Automate or vice versa.
  • Deep familiarity with API integration, data connectors, AI Builder, adaptive cards, and Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Strong scripting and debugging skills using VB.NET, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Expertise in error handling, logging frameworks, secure credential management, and governance models for enterprise-scale automation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience implementing automation in financial services, investment management, or operations domains.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Power BI integration scenarios.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services such as Logic Apps, Key Vault, and Azure AD for automation deployment.
  • UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate certifications.
