Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Contract duration: 08/24/2026 - 12/31/2026 with extensions; 3 positions open)

Overview of the Job

The UiPath Developer / System Programmer 4 designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and citizen service delivery across state government agencies. This role builds both traditional linear automation workflows and emerging Agentic AI solutions utilizing the UiPath automation platform. The position is responsible for creating enterprise-grade automations, integrating intelligent document processing and Large Language Models (LLMs), and ensuring all solutions comply with state cybersecurity, privacy, and governance standards.

Job Specifications

Primary Responsibilities

" Design, develop, test, and deploy attended, unattended, and scheduled UiPath automations for repetitive, rules-based state government workflows.

" Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions using UiPath Studio, Studio Web, Orchestrator, and related technologies.

" Develop process workflows incorporating robust exception handling, logging, auditing, and performance monitoring capabilities.

" Create reusable automation components, libraries, and templates to support broad enterprise automation initiatives.

" Integrate UiPath solutions with government systems, databases, APIs, document management systems, and cloud infrastructure.

" Design and implement Agentic AI solutions utilizing UiPath Autopilot, AI Center, Document Understanding, Communications Mining, and generative AI features.

" Develop AI-powered agents capable of autonomous decision-making, contextual reasoning, and multi-step task orchestration with human-in-the-loop oversight.

" Build intelligent workflows capable of interpreting unstructured data, emails, forms, and citizen communications using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and prompt engineering.

" Perform testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting to optimize bot reliability, performance, and efficiency.

" Ensure adherence to state cybersecurity, privacy, and responsible AI governance standards (including transparency, auditability, and bias mitigation).

" Produce comprehensive technical documentation and detailed workflow diagrams.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

" Strong proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise-grade RPA solutions using UiPath tools and frameworks.

" Knowledge of API integrations (REST/SOAP), SQL databases, and secure authentication/security concepts.

" Hands-on experience or familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM) integration, and intelligent document processing.

" Solid understanding of programming or scripting languages (e.g., C#, VB.NET, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).

" Strong analytical, debugging, and technical documentation skills.

" Ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

" Expertise with UiPath Studio, StudioX, Orchestrator, AI Center, Action Center, and Document Understanding.

" Practical experience applying Robotic Enterprise Framework (REFramework) and enterprise design patterns.

" Experience implementing Agentic AI, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering within enterprise automation environments.

Education and Experience

" Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.

" Significant hands-on experience in RPA development, system programming, and AI integration within complex corporate or public sector environments.
