A leading media company in Stamford, CT, is seeking a UI/UX Designer for a long-term contract role, focusing on transforming complex legacy user interfaces into modern experiences. Experience in streaming media is highly preferred.

About the Opportunity:

  • Assignment Length: Ongoing

  • Setting: Hybrid (4 days a week)

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing standardized user interface frameworks across multiple platforms

  • Leading the redesign of legacy interfaces to enhance usability and satisfaction

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive style guides

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate designs

  • Conducting usability testing and incorporating feedback into designs

  • Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design

  • Degree in a related field

  • Deep understanding of Design Systems and Responsive Design

  • Experience with Agile development environments

  • Proven ability to design for web, mobile, and desktop platforms

  • Strong communication skills

  • Collaboration skills

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Media, Streaming, or Broadcast Technology

  • Background in designing internal tools

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Familiarity with Figma
