Assists with directing the flow of activities within the nursing unit. Maintains optimal communication between members of the Health Care Team and assists in providing direct patient care in compliance with established competencies, policies/procedures and standards while under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: • High school graduate/equivalent. • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
EXPERIENCE: • One (1) year of patient care assistant experience and or clerical experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: • Post high school business or secretarial or computer training. • Medical terminology knowledge. • Notary Public for the State of West Virginia or obtain within 6 months of hire date and keep it up-to-date.
