We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to shape supplier strategies in the energy-efficient solutions sector, where innovation drives sustainability and performance. This role centers on optimizing supply chains to support data center operators, infrastructure developers, and cross-functional partners in achieving mission-critical objectives focused on cost efficiency, quality, and resilience.

  • Anticipate $100K+, with flexibility based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic sourcing plans for categories, focusing on cost reduction, lead times, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, including selection, negotiation, performance management, and improvement initiatives.
  • Lead contract negotiations for pricing, terms, and long-term agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment.
  • Drive supplier risk and sustainability programs, including audits, continuity planning, and ethical/CO2 reduction efforts.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, Logistics, and Finance on specifications, forecasts, and strategies.
  • Maintain supplier data and contracts in ERP systems for accuracy and reporting.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through design-to-cost, standardization, and consolidation.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend proactive sourcing actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing/category management in manufacturing/industrial/electromechanical supply chains.
  • Strong commercial acumen with negotiation success in contracts/pricing.
  • Experience in supplier performance management, audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of supply chain risk, sustainability, and ESG.
  • Proficiency in ERP/procurement tools and Excel.
  • Analytical problem-solver with excellent communication/stakeholder skills.
