Position Details
General Statement
Turtle Island Tales functions within the Center for American Indian and Rural Health Equity (CAIRHE). CAIRHE is an official state of Montana research center designated by the Montana University System Board of Regents. CAIRHE's mission is to reduce significant health disparities in Native and rural communities through community-based participatory research (CBPR) that is considerate of and consistent with their cultural beliefs. CAIRHE serves the people of Montana as a robust, interdisciplinary research center with strong engagement in communities across the state. In collaboration with partners across multiple states, Turtle Island Tales is an evidence-based obesity-prevention intervention that promotes wellbeing for Native American families with young children.

Continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funding.
Must possess a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and meet all State of Montana requirements to operate State/University vehicles. (If successful candidate possesses a valid out-of-state driver's license, must obtain a valid Montana driver's license within 60 days of hire.)
