As a Lockheed Martin employee, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in an environment that values integrity and excellence.

The Work:

The TSSC Operations Manager provides technical, operational, and administrative leadership across multiple functional areas supporting the C 130J Air Mobility Command, Air National Guard, and USMC Training System Support Center (TSSC). This role ensures effective coordination, resource alignment, cybersecurity compliance, and operational excellence across all TSSC divisions in support of Aircrew Training Device operations and enterprise training objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations and supervision for four major functional areas: Aircrew Training Devices, Information Technology Systems, Quality Assurance, and Instructional Systems Development.
  • Oversee all Information Technology and cybersecurity functions, ensuring compliance with DoD, NIST, and Lockheed Martin security standards across classified and unclassified networks, training systems, and end user environments.
  • Provide oversight of logistics coordination, resource planning, and program financial tracking to support mission requirements and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate cross functional tasks across the AMC/USMC TSSC enterprise, ensuring consistent communication, shared priorities, and elimination of redundant efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with the COE at Kirtland AFB to maintain alignment, mutual support, and standardized processes across both sites for Instructional Systems Design.
  • Partner with Operations & Sustainment (O&S) to ensure uninterrupted student throughput and minimize training disruptions caused by modifications or maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all TSSC personnel receive required technical, compliance, and security training.
  • Track all suspense items and deliver timely, accurate responses; develop extension requests as required.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with DoD customer agencies, providing briefings, reports, and regular operational updates.
  • Support major modification and production efforts by coordinating impacts and ensuring synchronization between engineering, production, and TSSC operations.
  • Implement Lockheed Martin policies, initiatives, and continuous improvement programs across the TSSC organization.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, security, and operational excellence.
