COMPENSATION:
$23-$27 Hourly
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare ingredients for daily service including washing, chopping, slicing, portioning, and labeling
- Follow recipes, food preparation guidelines, and plating standards
- Assist with basic cooking tasks as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
- Properly label, date, store, and rotate food items (FIFO)
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen deliveries
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and leadership
- Support opening and closing kitchen duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Basic knowledge of knife skills and food handling techniques
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and safety procedures
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
