Job Title: Truss Design Manager

Location: Nashville, TN (Relocation available)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Truss Design Manager to join our growing team in the Nashville market. This leadership role will oversee the design of roof and floor trusses for commercial and multifamily projects, as well as manage a talented team of designers. The ideal candidate will have strong design experience along with the ability to lead people, processes, and schedules. We are growing rapidly and need a Design Manager who can make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design of truss, wall panel, and framing materials for commercial and multifamily projects.
• Lead and manage a team of designers, ensuring quality and timeliness in project delivery.
• Manage design schedules, processes, and workflow to meet project deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support overall company growth.
• Be primed to take on a senior leadership role within a year or two, as the current Design Manager is preparing for retirement.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience designing roof and floor trusses for commercial and multifamily projects.
• Proficiency with MiTek, Alpine, or Simpson software.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage design processes.
• Must be willing to work in the Nashville office.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
• Preferably someone with many years left in their career who is looking to grow with us.
