We are seeking experienced Truss Builders to join our team. Candidates must have previous truss-building experience — no exceptions.
As part of the production crew, you will work in a fast-paced environment building roof and floor trusses according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team building trusses to order
- Measure, cut, drill, and nail wood components together
- Select the correct boards and materials for each truss
- Measure and cut truss components accurately
- Assemble wooden truss parts according to specifications
- Place nail plates on trusses and secure them properly
- Move completed trusses down the production line with the team
- Mark each truss according to building diagrams
- Band completed trusses together and move them to the staging area
- Assist with loading completed trusses onto trucks for shipment
- Complete paperwork and production documentation as needed
- Perform cleanup and basic equipment maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of truss building experience required
- Previous truss building experience is mandatory
- Experience with framing, form building, carpentry, or woodworking preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and building diagrams
- Comfortable performing physically demanding and outdoor work
- Forklift or fork truck experience preferred
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time position
- Starting pay: $17/hour (depending on experience)
- First pay increase after 6 months
- Second pay increase after 1 year
