    JOB SUMMARY: We are currently seeking aTruck Parts Specialist. This role is designed for those looking to start a career in the transportation maintenance industry with goals of upward opportunities.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:  

    Key Responsibilities  

    • Placing orders using OEM databases and following up on backorders 
    • Special-order tracking and follow up 
    • Issuing parts against appropriate work orders for inventory control and entering into repair order system 
    • Reviewing warranty tags and organizing returned parts accordingly 
    • Receiving and storing away stock orders once they arrive 
    • Recognizing overages, shortages, and pricing discrepancies 
    • Assisting with monthly cycle counts 
    • Keeping front counter area clean and uncluttered 

    QUALIFICATIONS:  

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • 3+ years' experience in cycle counts 
    • Microsoft 365 knowledge  
    • Ability to provide great customer service for our drivers 
    • Ability to track and coordinate movement of inventory through multiple Microsoft Applications 
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time 
    • Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, lift, push, and pull with a full range of body movements 
    • Ability to use hands to handle, control or feel 

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Knowledge of Truck/Trailer/Automotive Parts 
    • Customer Service Experience 
    • Knowledge of TMT Software 
    • Knowledge of AS400 Software 
    • Knowledge of Workstation Software

    • Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds 
    • Basic knowledge of email, spreadsheets, and computer applications 

    Work Experience: 

    3+ years' experience in cycle counts
