Supports daily ASP operations at Fort Sill, OK. This role involves transporting materials and waste across the installation per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while maintaining strict safety and security standards.



Responsibilities


+ Operate a diverse selection of trucks [i.e., medium duty trucks (<26,001 lbs GVWR), dump trucks, tractor trailers, etc.) to transport materials and waste to Landfill and DLA.

+ Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow all DOT, OSHA, and installation safety rules

+ Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques

+ Coordinate with supervisor to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

+ Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with general support tasks as assigned

+ Comply with installation access and security requirements

+ Stage, load, and transport items to DLA and post landfill

+ Maintain accurate records, logs, and system updates (Tonnage Reports, DPAS, LMP)

+ Assist with general support tasks and other duties assigned.



Qualifications


+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.

+ Valid and Current CDL A (with air brakes endorsement).

+ Two years of successful experience operating a tractor trailer.

+ Clean driving record for past seven years.

+ Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

+ Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation results, obtain and maintain a CAC.

+ Ability to pass security screening, which is completed for access to Arms, Ammunition, & Explosives (AA&E) storage and accountability rosters.

+ Commitment to safe and compliant transportation operations.

+ Trustworthy, reliable, committed to high quality transportation services.

+ Mission-Oriented.

+ Forklift/MHE operation certification (OF 346) preferred.



Desired Qualification:



+ Completed prerequisite training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88M – Motor Transport Operator.

+ Experience operating medium-duty trucks preferred (including dump truck).

+ Forklift/MHE operation certification (OF 346) preferred.



Physical Demands & Work Environment:



+ Include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, and operating in tiring positions.

+ Periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

+ Personal protective equipment (e.g., steel-toed shoes, gloves) may be required.
