We are a small trucking company which is part of a larger seafood company. We haul fish by- products from the processing plant located in Westport Wa to the meal plant located in Hoquiam Wa. The product is hauled in hydraulic end dumps with closed tops. Our work is full time seasonal dependent on season and product availability. During the season which usually runs May thru November we run 24/7 so there is a need to drive at any time of the day or night. Weekend shifts also necessary. There is no forced dispatch. There are other types of hauling in the off season, such as squid, or crab which involves reefer trailers and hauling from areas such as Northern Calif, and Charleston Oregon. Our work is great for the semi-retired or as supplemental income to others wanting extra income on their days off. We follow strict DOT Hours of service laws and trucks are fitted with electronic logs. Must have current medical card. We do DOT drug & alcohol testing both pre-employment and random. and you must be registered in the FMCSA drug & Alcohol clearinghouse. Class A CDL license required with preferably at least 1 year of driving experience.
