Job Description

Trolleys have been a form of transportation in downtown Raleigh for nearly 150 years, and while todays trolley requires a CDL instead of rails, it is still the best way to travel through town. While driving the trolley you will learn about the citys history, find out the best places to eat, and show-off the most unique vehicle in town. If you enjoy traveling in style and are excited about the idea of teaching others about the city of Raleigh, this job is perfect for you.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for driving the Raleigh Trolley for historic tours of downtown Raleigh, school field trips, and private rentals.

Typical Qualifications

Applicants should be customer service oriented and comfortable working with all demographics. Applicants must have some weekday availability. Some weekend availability is a plus, but not required. Applicants must have a CDL license with a passenger endorsement and air brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check and controlled substance test.

Additional Information

This job is part-time at 5-20 hours a week. The number of hours available to work varies seasonally and according to the drivers availability.
