Location: Renton

Schedule: 3:00PM - 1:30AM ; Monday-Thursday

Pay: $26.13 - $30.53/hr This includes a 10% shift differential

(FT, Non-Exempt)

Position

The Trimmer II uses hand tools or hand-held power tools to cut and trim a variety of manufactured composite parts.

This level is for an experienced individual, semi-skilled worker who operates machines, factory-related processing equipment, or vehicles. Has acquired skills from training and work experience, has limited autonomy, and works under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

Trim, deburr and seal fabricated components using pneumatic power tools.
Sign off on all work performed, reporting all production discrepancies and schedule concerns to supervisor.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment or supplies; promoting safety in the workplace.

Required Qualifications

Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.
Excellent eye and hand coordination.
Skilled in the use of pneumatic router and drills motors.
Ability to utilize measuring equipment, including scales and calipers.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace Experience
2-3 years' experience with handheld power tools
Bonding and sealant experience.

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Composite training preferred.

Experience

Two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Composite manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

Basic computer skills

Working Conditions

While performing the typical duties of this job, employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.

Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled
Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
Exposure to hazardous equipment
Exposure to contaminants
Shared workspaces with other employees
Requires handling objects of up to 30 lbs.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending
Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime)



Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee's position and exposure. Below are typical PPE used on the production floor. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.

Gloves (Latex, Rubber, Chemical Resistant, General Duty)
Protective Apron

Safety Glasses - Safety Goggles

Pay
