Trim Supervisor

Job Summary:
The primary function of this position is to supervise and guide the work of all postproduction employees that are participating in the Drying, Curing and Manicuring of In-Process Cannabis Flower and to ensure production goals are met while quality of product is maintained. 

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee postproduction Staff participating in the processing of In-Process Cannabis Flower from the time of Harvest through final Manicure and Decontamination.
  • Supervise postproduction employees participating in the packaging of select Bud products
  • Supports other supervising aspects of post-production as needed including Harvest, Canning, Popcorn/Trim processing.
    • Assist with Harvests and provide organization, leadership and training during harvests
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Managers and other Supervisors
  • Provide procedural training and guidance
  • Provide basic coaching and counseling
  • Delegates duties and communicates respectfully and regularly to Postproduction staff
  • Seeking the help of the Post-Production Manager for all employee issues
  • Participates in meetings
  • Assists with Scheduling
  • Maintains security protocols for facilities
  • Maintains safety protocols for staff

• Production/Quality Control
  • Oversee and guide the Drying, Curing, De-racking, De-Stemming, Sorting, Manicuring, Transferring and Receiving of In-Process Cannabis Flower to meet production goals.
  • Oversee the processing and packaging of Select Bud Products like Garden Select, Boulder Buckets and Bulk LBS of Bud.
  • Meticulously cares for the bud during the dry and cure process
  • Take and prepare samples for lab testing - must be a trained and certified sample taker.
  • Maintain organized and clean workspaces
  • Maintains trimming equipment and tools
  • Records internal data on paper forms and in google sheets
  • Packaging
    • Oversees the In-Process Bud and Popcorn packaging for transportation between facilities
    • Oversees the packaging of select Bud products
    • Basic label printing skills
  • Moderate understanding of the METRC tracking system: including finished product tags, sample tags and transfer manifests
  • Maintain consumable inventory and communicate inventory needs
• Compliance:
  • Stays current on all state regulations related to the processing, packaging and storage of Recreational and Medical Cannabis, shares these regulations with the staff, and upholds the regulations.
  • Stays current on METRC training and understanding
•  Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to follow regulations pertaining to the storage and processing of recreational and medical Cannabis.

• High school diploma required / associate degree preferred
• Knowledge of all regulations pertaining to the storage and processing of recreational and medical cannabis
• 2 years of METRC experience
• 2 years of Supervisory experience
• 2 years of Cannabis processing experience

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capable of bending, kneeling, and reaching during plant care activities.
• Ability to work on ladders with equipment.
