Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive electrical issues, including lighting, power accessories, and starting/charging systems.
Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including refrigerant system checks, leak detection, and component replacement.
Install, repair, and replace interior and exterior trim components, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
Utilize diagnostic equipment, including scan tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes, to identify electrical and HVAC faults.
Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins to guide repairs.
Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
Collaborate with other service department members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
ASE Certifications (T6-T8) preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on trim, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and multimeters.
Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, including wiring diagrams and component testing.
Experience with automotive air conditioning systems, including refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
