The Hayward Community School District is accepting applications for the position of

HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL TRIBAL, COMMUNITY, SCHOOL LIAISONS

Qualifications:

Valid Wisconsin driver's license.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with and relate to a variety of people in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to work with and relate to students.
  • Knowledge of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and its people.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
  • Knowledge of schools and ability to work with school personnel.
  • Knowledge of and ability to work with county and reservation agencies including social services, public health, the police and legal system, alcohol and drug agencies, and mental health agencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with Native American children and their families to ensure successful educational experiences. Serve as a liaison between the Hayward Schools, the Lac Courte Oreilles tribe and other county and reservation agencies.

Terms of Employment:

191 day calendar - 7.5 hours per day

Salary: $22.89/hr.
