Job Details

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney with a strong track record in complex litigation and an established book of business to join its growing practice.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator who is comfortable taking cases from inception through trial and has substantial experience across a range of complex matters, including real estate disputes, business torts, and insolvency-related litigation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney seeking a platform to expand their practice within a collaborative and well-resourced firm.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of complex litigation matters from pre-suit through trial and appeal
Serve as first-chair or second-chair trial counsel in state and federal courts
Handle a diverse caseload, including:

Real estate litigation
Business torts and partnership disputes
Officer and director liability claims
Complex commercial litigation
Bankruptcy and insolvency-related litigation
Insurance coverage and defense matters


Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with client objectives
Maintain and grow existing client relationships while contributing to firm business development efforts

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar
8+ years of litigation experience with significant trial exposure
Demonstrated experience in the specified practice areas
Portable book of business required (target range typically $500K+)
Proven ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
Strong advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a practice
