Job Summary
This Mass General Brigham practice in Lawrence located at 500 Merrimack Street offers a broad range of medical sub-specialties (Cardiology, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, GI, Internal Medicine, Allergy and Nephrology). We provide residents of Merrimack Valley with the latest in diagnostics, technology, and research. Andover Medical Center offers an integrated system of care that combines expert, medical attention. We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Triage RN to support our combined suite of GI, Nephrology, Pulmonary, as well as Allergy. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. This role is primarily phone triage with a mix nurse visits.SummaryResponsible for patient care and support within our hospital's outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.Does this position require Patient Care?YesEssential Functions-Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.Qualifications
